Vine age - Sauvignon blanc grafted in 2007 to rootstock planted in 1981. Pinot noir planted in 1988.
Management - Conventionally managed, dry grown most years.
Notes - Another of the upper Yarra Valley’s vineyard gems, Willowlake is a cool & thus slow/late ripening site with outstanding viticultural soils & considerable vine age, consistently producing some highly sought after fruit & resultant wines of exceptional balance, finesse & concentration.
